Effects of an herbal extract containing the metabolic active form of Vitamin D3 on sows’ productivity and piglet health

The project aims to evaluate the efficacy of the supplementation of a herbal extract containing 1,25(OH2) D3, the active form of Vitamin D on sows and piglets in order to optimize performance of nursing/nursery piglets and to get positive long term effects for the whole life of the animals.
